Dental Chair Units

A high quality dental chair unit is very important as it helps provide quality dental service and comfort to patients. Three major components of a dental chair unit:

1. The chair for the patient must be ergonomically designed, so that it provides adequate weight and back support to ensure that the patient is comfortable and relaxed during the dental treatment.

2. The attached tray for dental tools and control devices should provide adequate space and convenience to the dentist (e.g. on/off switch, foot-pedal switch). The pressurized air and water system must be efficient enough to prevent risk of infection, ensure safety, and to minimize discomfort to the patient during the dental treatment.

3. The dentist and dental assistant chairs should be comfortable according to proper ergonomics, providing a clear view of the patient's mouth / teeth, and be convenient during the dental treatment.

The important features of a dental chair unit is an infection free, hygiene maintenance system, comprising of the followings:

    1. Control devices to adjust the dental chair unit, and a foot-pedal switch to regulate the buffing / grinding tool.

    2. Painted / polished surface texture, with rounded edges, and easy to clean

    3. Handles designed to accommodate protective materials

    4. Easy to clean, single piece, round ceramic bowl rinse

    5. Detachable handle for dental tools / equipment tray for easy cleaning

    6. Dental chair cover made of non-porous firm texture synthetic leather, molded to the shape of the chair, and no stitching.

    7. Water sanitization system to kill germs in the circulating water and to prevent suction of liquid back into the system.
